Etobicoke Suzuki Music

Suzuki Sprouts
(Suzuki Early Childhood Education)

Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) is a curriculum that promotes a love of music and learning. Children have an unlimited capacity to care, share, and learn. We believe that learning music should be a joyful experience. Our approach to teaching is based on the philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki - that talent can be taught and every child can learn. SECE focuses on a child's natural delight in learning and aims to develop the abilities and natural potential of each child through listening, modeling, encouragement, repetition, and parental involvement.

About Suzuki Sprouts

Through songs, rhymes, and activities, our Suzuki Sprouts program will introduce your child to skills that will help develop their musical ear, language, focus, physical coordination, social skills, and confidence. Various repertoire from the Suzuki method is presented during class. Classes are kept small so we can observe your child's development from week to week, and have a mixed age range so children can learn from one another.

Suzuki Sprouts is for young children ages birth through 4 years old, and their parent/grandparent/caregiver.

Suzuki Sprouts is taught by our Sprouts faculty.

Policies for Suzuki Sprouts

Participants attending in-person lessons must adhere to screening, masking, social distancing, and proof of vaccination guidelines when required.

If you, your child, or any accompanying person have symptoms of a contagious nature, please do not attend your in-person class or event. This is especially important for the safety of immunocompromised ESM student and faculty household members whom you may not be aware of.

We take new registrations throughout the year. Fees will be prorated if first entering partway through the year. If a term needs to be cancelled due to insufficient registration, you will receive a full refund. Absolutely no refunds will be granted 14 days prior to the start of a term or during a term. Refund requests earlier than 14 days prior to the start of a term will be granted in full, minus the administration fee. For full-year registrants: after Winter term begins, no refunds will be issued.

No refunds or make up classes will be offered for students who miss a class. The teacher will reschedule any class that is cancelled due to teacher unavailability. Once that class has been rescheduled, it is treated like a regular class and will not be made up or further rescheduled if missed by a student. Any classes cancelled due to inclement weather or other exceptional circumstances will not be made up.
